DINNING HALL
A few moments that one can snatch from the hectic work schedule are best spent at the school dining hall. It provides wholesome lunch in the most hygienic conditions.
It caters to the students and the staff. The canteen administration aligns itself with the events in the school and serves special refreshments on occasions like Mango Day, Ice-cream Day, Independence Day, Parent Teacher Meetings etc.
The Dining Hall has a capacity to cater to 250+ students at any point of time.
E- CLASS
We have been successful in bringing technology to our classrooms with the introduction of interactive Whiteboards or Smart Boards. These allow students to interact with the lesson content while allowing teachers to integrate a range of resources with their lessons.
The classroom transforms into an interactive forum for sharing experiences among students, thus helping in widening their analytical faculties. The number of students in each class is limited, so that the teachers give individual attention to each student each classroom of the Junior School has been tailor made to cater to the creative needs of the tiny tots.
COMPUTER LAB
There are two well-equipped computer labs in the School. We have competent teachers to train the students in the latest advancements in technology and computing. Beginning from the Junior School, we focus on keyboarding, word processing and Internet skills.
The computer labs are equipped with the following facilities:
• Multimedia systems
• 20” LCD monitors
• Networking environment
• A vast collection of educational software’s, catering to various subjects, for the use of teachers and students.
Technology is at its boom and it has imbibed it in all possible ways to set the educational standards to a different equation. The curriculum incorporates teaching-learning methodologies, which facilitates the process and break the monotony of learning patterns not keeping them traditional anymore. The students are updated with the latest modes of technology and are kept in tune with the current system. The exposure provided to the learners makes learning a stimulating and intriguing experience. The use of online encyclopedias and reference material in the library also contributes immensely to the learning process.
LANGUAGE LAB
The language lab is the School’s foray into successful implementation of novel teaching methods to cultivate effective language skills in its students.
Curriculum is designed, by planning with the use of audio – visual aids, which is a crucial aspect of the teaching process. The Language Lab of the school with the facilities for audio and video recordings and analysis is very useful for honing students’ skills.
It has a well – stocked reference section in the form of audio and video files, magnetic tapes, slides, documentaries and films pertaining to various foreign languages. This material is extensively utilized in designing the programs for teaching of languages.
SCIENCE LAB
Scientific temper is inculcated in each child through exploration, observation & discovery. Many different strategies are adopted at all developmental stages to develop conceptual understanding and an inquisitive mind.
Emphasis is laid on sensitizing the learners to the application of concepts in not only day to day lives but also in the service of humanity and as a major instrument for achieving goals of self reliance, socio-economic and socio-ecological development.
Science as a stream is introduced for senior classes with wide-ranging programs covering Physics, Chemistry, Biology. It will provide students with a scientific approach to advanced studies, and the students will be exposed to the latest discoveries and developments.
LIBRARY
The School library is a learning resource center in the widest sense as it has information resources, expansive reading material and digital data with Internet access. The library is well stocked with a wide collection of books and data available on a variety of subjects. Children are encouraged to use the Internet for reference work to prepare their projects.
The school library fosters the development of life-long learning abilities and love for reading in the students. It also provides teachers with instructional material and professional resources.
MEDICAL
The School houses a well-equipped Medical Room accessible during school hours.
Regular medical checkups are conducted, and detailed medical records of students are maintained once / twice a year along with valuable suggestions by the doctors. Health Education programs, first aid sessions and, lifestyle with Yoga & Meditation sessions are also held to inculcate healthy lifestyle within all students.
TRANSPORT
The School has its own fleet of buses. Each bus has a driver and conductor for complete safety and security of the children. The routes and timing of the entire fleet of buses are monitored with the help of the back up staff and equipments.
